Biography
Thisbe K. Lindhorst is serving as a Professor of Organic and Biological Chemistry at Otto Diels Institute, Kiel University, Germany. Currently she is the elected president of GDCh (German Chemical Society).
Research Interest
My research focuses on a basic understanding of molecular interactions with glycoconjugates on eukaryotic cell surfaces, or glycocalyx. Synthetic modelling systems are employed in combination with biophysical and biochemical methods.
